Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about CoinSignalPro.
What is CoinSignalPro?
CoinSignalPro is a cryptocurrency signal analysis platform that continuously scans Binance Spot and Futures (USDT-M Perpetual) markets. It brings together technical analysis tools like RSI, trend state, Donchian channel breakouts, 60+ candlestick patterns, and automated BUY signal generation in one place.
How are signals generated? Is this investment advice?
Signals are generated by a fully rule-based, algorithmic system combining factors like RSI conditions, moving-average trend state, support/resistance interaction, candlestick confirmation, volume, and multi-timeframe alignment. They are not personal investment advice — cryptocurrency markets carry substantial risk, and past performance doesn't guarantee future results.
What's the difference between Spot and Futures analysis, and why are they kept separate?
Spot and Futures markets differ in liquidity, funding rates, leverage, and positioning structure. Because of this, CoinSignalPro tracks and analyzes spot and futures data completely independently, even for the same coin — the two shouldn't be treated as interchangeable.
How often is data updated?
Market data is updated continuously throughout the day. Technical indicators, scanner results, candlestick patterns, support/resistance levels, and signal statuses are automatically recalculated as new data arrives.
How are support/resistance levels calculated?
Levels are determined by algorithmically scanning historical price action for points where price has repeatedly reacted (touched). A level's strength is based on how many times it's been touched and the magnitude of the price reaction there.
What does the RSI Scanner show, and how do I use it?
The RSI Scanner screens all tracked coins across five timeframes and lists those in oversold (RSI < 30) or overbought (RSI > 70) territory. It can help spot potential reversal setups early.
How does candlestick pattern detection work?
The system automatically scans over 60 classic candlestick patterns (doji, engulfing, harami, star formations, and more) across five timeframes (1h, 4h, 1d, 1w, 1mon) for every coin, reporting each with a confidence score.
What is ATH Realism Analysis?
It's an analysis that scores how realistic it is for a coin to reclaim its all-time high, based on factors like distance from the current price, supply dynamics, and volume trend.
What does the Multi-Timeframe Score mean?
It's a combined consensus score built from analyst notes and signal direction (buy/sell/warn) across a coin's different timeframes (1h through 1mon) — the score is stronger when multiple timeframes point the same direction.
Why does the funding rate matter?
The funding rate is a periodic payment exchanged between long and short position holders on Binance Futures. A persistently high positive rate can signal overcrowded long positioning (higher correction risk), while a persistently negative rate can signal overcrowded short positioning.
What does the Fear & Greed Index show?
It's a daily index measuring overall market sentiment from 0 (Extreme Fear) to 100 (Extreme Greed). Historically, extreme fear periods have tended to coincide with recoveries, and extreme greed periods with corrections.
How is the Altcoin Season Index calculated?
It measures what percentage of tracked altcoins have outperformed Bitcoin over the last 90 days. A high percentage suggests the market is closer to 'Altcoin Season'; a low one suggests 'Bitcoin Season'.
How should I interpret historical signal performance (win rate, average return)?
These statistics transparently show the actual outcomes of past signals (based on closed BUY signals) for that coin/timeframe combination. A high historical win rate doesn't guarantee future results — it only reflects that setup's historical tendency.
